Onstage Question is not scored, but utilized by the judges to make their final choices. Depending on the number of contestants we will either only have the top 5 onstage question, or open it to the entire class. TBD

Cost to compete for the 2025 competition is as follows

Titleholder: $850 - Includes Official Crown and Sash and invitations to participate in upcoming Volunteer events

At-Large Contestant: $650 - Includes competition sash

​

- $150 Deposit required to secure your spot 

- $500 Registration Fee Due by October 25 2024

- $75 Official Local Sash - Due before item is shipped

-$125  Official Local Crown - Due before item is shipped

Payments can be made in the SHOP 

This year, we are offering two different ways to participate in the Competition.

Local Titleholder Option: -- APPLICATIONS CLOSE SEPTEMBER 1st!

• Will have Official Sash and Crown to make personal appearances before competition

• Invitation to participate in official events such as St. Jude Events, Glamour Gals, fundraising events and more. 

• Access to official Social Media Page for your title

• Access to Contestant Workshops

• Access to Sponsor Discounts

At-Large Contestant Option: -- APPLICATIONS CLOSE OCTOBER 20th

• No Sash or Crown 

• Will receive Competition Sash at State Competition

• Access to Contestant Workshops

• Access to Sponsor Discounts 

Our Poppy Princess Program is a Non-Competitive Program for young girls ages 5-12 to experience and participate in the Miss California Volunteer Pageant!

Poppy Princesses will receive:

• Official Poppy Princess Crown and Sash

• Official Poppy Princess SWAG

• Official Poppy Princess T-Shirt

• Opportunity to star onstage in the National Anthem, Poppy Princess Production Number, and Evening Gown Competition

• Poppy Princesses will have their very own special Poppy Princess Coronation on Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Hermosa Beach Community Theater where they will be crowned by their Miss/Teen Mentor onstage!

• $275 for New Poppy Princesses

• $225 for Returning Poppy Princesses (Crown and Sash not included)

Miss California Volunteer and Miss California Teen Volunteer 2025 will be held at the

Hermosa Beach Community Theater, 710 Pier Ave Hermosa Beach Ca.

November 21-23, 2024

• Thursday November 21, 2024,

  • 1:00 pm:  Contestant Check In

  • 2:00 - 8:00 pm, Videography and Rehearsals

  • 8:00 - 10:00 pm: Pajama Party

• Friday November 22, 2024: 

  • 8:00 am- 12:00pm Rehearsals​

  • 12:00 pm Teen Interviews Start

  • 2: 00 pm Miss Interviews Start

  • 6:00 pm Contestant Sign in Ceremony and Poppy Princess Coronation

• Saturday November 23, 2024​

  • 8:00 am - 3:00 pm Rehearsals​

  • 5:00 pm - Pageant Competition!

The winners of Miss California Volunteer and Miss California Teen Volunteer will have the opportunity to represent the state at the Miss Volunteer America Pageant and Miss Teen Volunteer America Pageants in Jackson. Tennessee!

They will also receive a prize package including Scholarship Dollars, Sponsored services, Goods, Travel Experiences and more!

• Miss Teen Volunteer America: March 17-23, 2025​
